Have you visited Santa Cruz? Travel with us!
You've probably seen the touristic videos we launched on our social media platforms as part of our “Visit Santa Cruz, Visit Los Tajibos” campaign, but if you haven't seen them yet, we invite you to watch them in this article. The idea was actually born during a team talk in which we were wondering, "What are the most beautiful places in the department to visit and/or to propose as options for our guests?"
Several of us suggested the names of places very close to the city, such as Cotoca, Aguas Calientes, the renowned Jesuit Missions and Lomas de Arena; some even mentioned shopping malls. When we asked who among us had visited these attractions, we realized that very few of us had actually set foot in these places. "We need to show beautiful places from this land!" was the common denominator of our thoughts, so as a team we spent time thinking of how to launch this campaign. And that is how this journey began, by contacting people who share the same love for this land. We contacted The Bolivian Traveler, a young Bolivian tourism blogger, who we felt perfectly fit the profile to check out the most emblematic places, close to the city and easily accessible to anyone who reads this article. Of course, we also counted on the support of the Santa Cruz Brand (Marca Santa Cruz), which has always provided us with useful information about places to visit.
In our first video, we've attempted to give a panoramic view of different tourist sites in Santa Cruz that are very accessible to the public, given their proximity to one another: Samaipata, Lomas de Arena and Jardin de las Delicias. Here we can observe valleys, waterfalls, sand dunes, lush vegetation and other beautiful natural landscapes.
But we wanted to go beyond this, as we are also trying to facilitate our visitors' stay in Santa Cruz by providing all of our guests and all of the tourists that arrive at our hotel with precise, detailed and easily accessible information on each destination, including tips on how to best enjoy each experience.
Since the end of 2017, we've been developing a strategic partnership with Santa Cruz Brand ( Marca Santa Cruz) hoping to place the city and the department on the itinerary as some of the most important destinations in the region. As a result of that effort, this year we welcomed a group of journalists from Peru, Chile and Paraguay who visited the city and the surrounding area's most attractive sites.
We invite you to follow us on Instagram (@lostajiboshotel) and to visit this blog we've created to provide information and tips, as well as to offer a more personal take on the real experiences that we've had visiting these wonderful places.
